Every other Wednesday and the last Monday of the month, ÅSV hosts an open mic night for songwriters. These events are open to both audience members and performing songwriters.
Both beginners and more experienced songwriters are welcome, and you don’t need to be a member of the association to join. On Wednesdays, the open mic takes place in the cosy and atmospheric Fairbar, where we warmly welcome songwriters who feel ready to share their music with the audience. On Mondays, the evenings are held at Café Mellemfolk, offering a more intimate and subdued atmosphere.
A performing host will take care of you and your songwriter’s heart, while a sound technician ensures great sound for piano, guitar, and vocals. Check below to see when the next Open Mic will take place.
Would You Like to Be the Headliner?
As a paying member, you are entitled to be the headliner once a year.
Typically, you’ll perform a shorter set of about 25 minutes.
